PEELING

Peeling is the removal of the dead skin cells. It gives freshness, elasticity and juvenescence to the skin. Peeling is done to prevent skin aging and correcting age-related cosmetic defects.

The chemical method of peeling assumes use of different preparations such as fruit acids, trichloride, acetic acid etc. The mechanical one is the mechanical skin peeling. Depending on the customer’s problems, a relevant method is chosen. Peeling is also categorized according to the depth of its effect on the skin: shallow, medium and deep. Each of them is applied for particular aesthetic problem. The depth of the intervention should be decided together with the doctor-cosmetologist since a low-effect procedure can fail to give the desired results, while a high-effect one can traumatize the skin, distort cellular processes and worsen the problem.
